Jellison Road Summary
800 PUBLIC ACRES OPENED NEAR BILLINGS
2005 to state land the Jellison Road once served as an access to a section of Montana State School Trust Land near Billings. Back in 1964 County Commissioners closed the road crossing state land. In 2005 PLWA requested that the closed portion of the road be reopened for public use. Due to the efforts of PLWA and the Magic City Fly Fishers the road is now open to over 800 acres of State Land with more than one half mile of frontage on the Yellowstone River.
